Our Company & Expertise

affiniti digitalBased in Melbourne, Affiniti Digital is a small company with high standards – and a passion for helping clients demystify all things digital.

Drawing on more than 20 years in media, 13 years of that in the digital arena and extensive experience working agency, media and client-side, we understand the value of brand and know how brands work. We enjoy helping brands become more social – and understand the internal cultural obstacles that appear as part of this transition.

We are not a big company, but that means that we don’t carry overheads that our clients have to pay for.

Our previous experience gives us insight into a broad range of large and small brands and includes work over the years for a number of companies including Tattersall’s, Tatts.com, Sony Playstation, ATO, Vic Government, Isis, D-Store and Indigo Training. We currently provide services working directly with clients and indirectly via a number of smaller media and PR agencies.

Our Philosophy

We understand that our clients have businesses to run – and have better things to do than learn yet another set of terms and buzzwords. We also know from our clients that businesses are beginning to see the need to become social but often dont know where to start.

We are fans of leading with strategy. We like our clients to be able to know where they are going, see the commercial benefits of going there and understand the steps involved. We discourage the ad-hoc campaign-based approach to social media. Our belief is that this often creates brand orphans and sends the wrong message to those consumers wishing to connect meaningfully with your brand.

True believers in the potential for genuine communication presented by social media, we encourage our clients to embrace the idea of creating and maintaining direct meaningful relationships with customers that go beyond simply trying to sell stuff.We take a long-term approach to social media and work with our clients to progressively socialise brands in a strategic, sustainable way.

We believe that social engagement is about human relationships – not gimmicks or one-off marketing experiments.

Whilst our executive training, online strategy, brand monitoring, customer engagement and customer acquisition services can be consumed as stand-alone, our intention is to anticipate the ongoing needs of our clients by providing services that help brands through each step of the engagement cycle.
